Three-year-old beauty queen calls rival a 'hooker'

Creating more controversy, Toddlers and Tiaras "star" Barrett trashed her rival three-year-old beauty queen Paisley, by saying to camera that she not only copies her, but she "dresses like a hooker".

Watch the video of five-year-old Barrett, who told TMZ that, "her mother doesn't dress her as a hooker". This is reference to an earlier Toddlers episode where beauty pageant competitor Paisley dressed as Julia Roberts's character, Vivian Ward in Pretty woman.

Barratt's mother sounds shocked that she made such a comment, but she doesn't try to correct her daughter's name calling. But teaching her child values may not be a top priority for this mum.

However, there are many mothers that defend the pageant process, saying that it helps self esteem and brings families together. When Paisley wore the offending dress, one pageant mother from the show was quoted as saying, "it's outfits like that that give us a bad rap".

As the crowd, and more importantly, the judges rate young girls being dressed like hookers as adorable, we can only wait for a competitive mother to find an even less appropriate outfit to help take the show to a new low.
