Hot celeb trainer Valerie Waters gets Hollywood's hottest butts, including starlett Jessica Biel's, into top shape
Considered one of Hollywood's "hot trainers", Valerie Waters has been training Hollywood stars for almost 20 years. From Charlize Theron and Cindy Crawford to Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel, she's been getting celebrities ready for movie roles, magazines, red-carpet events and awards ceremonies.
Having started out as a personal trainer specialising in body building, Valerie now focuses on circuit weight training so as not to bulk up.
"I started out as a fitness trainer, but I was more into body building: eating five times a day and not eating starchy carbs," she says.
"I didn't like the bulked-up look so I got into circuit and weight training so as to create a more toned, athletic, feminine and trim look, which is why Cindy Crawford was referred to me," Valerie explains.
"She's been my main client for 15 years and I use her as a role model for my other star clients."
Having trained Cindy through her supermodel career, two pregnancies and getting back her post-baby body, Valerie says Cindy is someone who is a terrific role model for being able to have a great figure but still go out have a cocktail and eat a pizza with her husband.
"For 15 years Cindy has been going to the gym three days a week for an hour. She lives her life with balance. She doesn't ever rollercoaster and gain 20 pounds."
From there, Valerie's reputation grew and more stars sought out her services. Jennifer Garner is another star client, and through Jennifer's recommendation she also trains 'Hollywood's hottest butt' Jessica Biel.
"Jessica was referred to me through Jennifer's manager. She loves to work-out. She works-out five days a week for an hour," Valerie says. "If she's not working out with a trainer she's going to volleyball or yoga or hiking. Not only does she work out consistently, she's an active girl; her focus is on going out and having fun playing sports."
And when her stars are away filming in remote locations? Valerie gives them her Val Kit For Travel. The pack contains the Valband, the Valslide, work-out routines, express work-outs, a simple 20-minute workout, a handy travel bag, and exercise and nutrition travel tips.
The Valslide is a portable slide board that's slippery and only a little bit bigger than your foot. Valerie says Jessica loves the Valslide, which works that the butt perfectly. The Valband is a small band which is wrapped around the ankles and works the hips when stepping step to side.
"Jessica likes to put it around her ankles, bend at the knees, bend down and take a little crab walk to the side. It's so effective; it works your hip and your glutes." Valerie says.
"I initially created a travel kit for my star clients so they could carry it in their luggage and handbag. It comes in a little travel pouch and you only need enough space to do it in a room as big as you can lunge and do push-ups. Often actors will do it in their hotel rooms or trailers."
Because her clients have had such good results she put Valband up on her website to sell and it's been selling its socks off.
"Jessica likes it because she felt the workout in her butt straight away, and all girls want to know you can feel it in that area," Valerie says. "Most celebs want the butt. If you work it, lift it and it's full, it's okay if you gain a few pounds. What's not cool is a saggy butt."
