Get rid of love handles

"Muffin top", "spare tyre" and "love handles" are just a few of the terms used to describe the layer of fat that hangs over the top of your low-waisted jeans.

Health and Fitness expert Amelia Burton advises on how to get rid of the overhang with some fun and effective exercises — no gym membership necessary!

"You can't spot reduce body fat particularly," Burton told Kerri-Anne, "but you can certainly do a lot of exercises that reduce body fat all over and you can tone up the areas that are your trouble spots."

Burton's top muffin-top busting exercises are:

  • Hula hooping;
  • Belly dancing;
  • Side-leg raises;
  • Combine aerobic and strength training.
