Is paddleboarding a fad or not?

Question:

I have seen a lot of people taking up paddleboarding because it's supposed to be the best form of exercise. Is that true? How does it compare to running or a gym work-out?

Answer:

Paddleboards are a great way to exercise and work out as it combines fun and exercise at the same time. There are two types of paddleboards: stand up and lying down. Both are effective in giving you a great work-out and using both your upper and lower body. They are both summer-based exercise activities so it's an ideal way to add variety to your work-outs. It's hard to compare different sports in terms of results but doing what you enjoy is the key as it's easy to stay motivated and that is the hard part when it comes to any form of exercise.
