Giselle's post-baby body secrets

Friday, March 19, 2010

Giselle Bündchen has been tight-lipped about her post-baby figure, but this month she's graced the cover of US Vogue and unveiled how she regained her runway-worthy figure after the birth of her son, Benjamin Rein in December. Dying to know how she did it? Us too!

Truth is, according to her interview with Vogue, the Brazilian beauty puts it down to plenty of exercise during her pregnancy and a few yoga sessions at home.

"I think it's muscle memory," the cover girl told Vogue. "I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week.

"I was mindful about what I ate and I gained only 30 pounds [13kg]."

The Brazilian runway beauty also unveiled the news of her eco-friendly all-natural line of beauty products called Sejaa Pure Skincare.

The three-product range features whole plant extracts and 100 percent natural ingredients and includes a day cream, night cream and a mud mask. In the interview with Vogue Giselle said, "I have made the simplest, purest cream — an everyday cream — but it comes with an affirmation."

Seja (meaning "to be" in Portuguese) has been twisted a little by Giselle as she added an extra A to create an exhalation when you pronounce the word.

"Words have a vibration, and aaah! is an exhalation, what you feel when you let go," Giselle told US Vogue.

We can't wait to get some Bündchen beauty for ourselves. In the meantime, while we wait for our eco Bündchen bliss to arrive, she's inspired us to roll out our yoga mats and maybe even try kung fu.
