What is the best natural antifungal treatment for all age groups?
There are a number of natural antifungal treatments. There are fungal conditions of the skin in which we would use something that we could apply directly to the affected area. One of the most common fungal complaints is athlete's foot. For this you can soak the feet in warm water containing a cup of apple cider vinegar and then dry well. Apply pure tea-tree oil. It is very important to keep any affected areas dry, fungus loves moist conditions. So go barefoot as often as possible.
Other common fungals are candida and jock itch. These are better to treat from within by eating good yoghurt with beneficial bacteria such as lactobacillus acidophilus and avoiding sugar and foods with high-yeast content such as cheese, Vegemite, honey, jam, bread, beer and wine. Relief from the itching can be obtained by sponging the affected area with a mixture of warm water and apple cider vinegar.
