I suffer from stomach ulcers. Is there is something natural that I can take to help ease the discomfort?
Slippery elm powder is something you could take. This puts a soothing lining over the membrane and eases discomfort. You can buy the powder at any health food shop. Take a teaspoon of the powder mixed with some yoghurt or mashed banana. This can also be stirred in to a glass of water, but it is easier to eat it than to drink it. Slippery elm and marshmallow tablets are also available and are very good.
