Fake bake is set for a make-under this winter as queen of the tangy orange tan, Victoria Beckham, calls in an artiste

If a luminous (read orange) spray tan is the beauty vice you rely on to make the cold winter months more bearable, take note, there is a turning of the tide ahead – or should we say, turning of the tan.

Fashion forward Mrs Beckham seems to have finally realised her skin was more Oompa Loompa the ‘ooh la la’. However, rather than hit the bathroom armed with a maxi pot of body scrub, the star has called in an emergency expert in the form of spray tan ‘artiste’ Jimmy Coco.

The man of the fake tan moment told the UK’s Daily Mail , “‘When we met, she was orange.” And now, thanks to his skills, the star is looking, well, almost natural.

Coco added, ‘‘I can make you look 10lb lighter. But in her case, that is not necessary.’

Indeed, to do so would surely make the tiny star disappear altogether…

Victoria isn’t the only celebrity to opt for a more au naturel sun-kissed glow. We’ve selected the palest beauties and of course, those who go OTT for you to view. Check out our gallery and leave your comments!
