Her Royal Hotness' backside has inspired its own Facebook appreciation group, and now her name is inspiring new parents, Nameberry.com has found.

The baby name website's mid-year list of the hottest new baby names found Philippa and its derivative Pippa were the most popular, based on an analysis of 23 million page views since January.

The name Kate has risen in popularity too, thanks to the wedding event of the year, but not as nearly as much as the Duchess of Cambridge's sister's name, the site found.

In 2010, Pippa did not even rank in the top 200 names.

Asher overtook Henry as the most popular boy's name this year and Elula (the name of Isla Fisher and Sasha Baron Cohen's daughter), Flynn (Mirada Kerr and Orlando Bloom's son) and Mila (the name of Black Swan star Mila Kunis), have also risen in popularity.
