Question:
Am I strange? My new boyfriend has a fetish for feet. A few weeks ago I indulged him for the first time and allowed him to tie me to my bed. He proceeded to tickle the bottoms of my feet for a long time.
I'm a very ticklish person and I laughed and screamed. Then all of a sudden and without warning I had an orgasm, but I wasn't aware I was aroused. His scratching my soles went from hideous torture to making it one of the most intense orgasms I have had.
Is it normal to experience orgasm just from having your feet tickled? Or to experience spontaneous orgasm without first feeling aroused? My boyfriend hadn't seen it happen before (though he thought it was the coolest thing ever!) and I'm quite nervous about putting myself through it again.
Response:
First of all, there is no "normal" when it comes to sex and sexuality. Every human body operates slightly differently. Although it is not common, individuals who are very much in touch with their sexuality can experience an orgasm without touching the genitals directly.
Additionally, I suspect you probably were aroused, but due to the tickling, laughing, and screaming you were not aware of it. It is also important to remember that orgasms occur when we allow ourselves to completely let go. When we give up control over our bodies completely is when we tend to experience the deepest and most intense orgasms.
In your case, the tickling, laughing and screaming may have resulted in the inability to maintain control over your body, which resulted in experiencing the most intense orgasm you've ever had.
It is wonderful to see that your boyfriend's interest in feet can be incorporated in your sexual play quite nicely, and that you are able to both receive a lot of intense pleasure out of it.
